Job Description

Who will you be working with

Bearward Engineering is a Northampton based firm manufacturing radiators for the power generation industry.

How will you make a difference?

As a member of the Stores department team, working on the 08:00-16:00 shift (38 hours/week) Monday to Friday, you will be responsible for assisting in the continuous smooth flow of components throughout the business.  Assisting in all areas inline with business needs, processing all relevant paperwork in a timely and accurate manner, accuracy with stocktaking.  Maintaining all Company equipment used during working hours to level required.  PPE supplied; safety glasses, ear protection, overalls gloves, safety boots (and visors where relevant).  Fork truck training will be provided.

You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.

Practical, hands on.

Have good communication skills.

Willing to work flexibly.

Attention to good Housekeeping.

Warehouse background desirable but not essential.

Full clean UK drivers licence.

 

What about the physical demands of the job?

A manual environment, lifting heavy equipment with appropriate handling equipment.
