Job Description

Who will you be working with?

You will be part of the Engineering team, working closely with process engineers, production teams, quality, and other plant functions. The team is responsible for the development, implementation, and support of mechanical design solutions for new and modernized products throughout their full lifecycle.

How will you make a difference?

As a member of the Mechanical Engineering team, you will be responsible for the design, development, and support of mechanical components, assemblies, and systems for new and upgraded products. You will play a key role in transforming engineering concepts into manufacturable solutions by developing design documentation, performing engineering calculations, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and supporting production activities. Your work will directly contribute to product quality, reliability, innovation, and operational efficiency.

What will your typical day look like?

  • Develop design documentation, including drawings, diagrams, and specifications, for new and upgraded products
  • Design machine and mechanism components, assemblies, and units
  • Develop 3D models, parts, and assembly drawings using CAD systems such as NX CAD/CAM, AutoCAD, and KOMPAS‑3D
  • Perform engineering calculations, including strength, rigidity, wear resistance, and other performance analyses
  • Prepare design documentation in compliance with the Unified System for Design Documentation (GOST / ESKD)
  • Coordinate and align design solutions with process engineering, production, and other plant departments
  • Support and monitor products during production, resolving design-related issues
  • Participate in prototype assembly, debugging, testing, and validation activities
  • Identify and eliminate design deficiencies revealed during production and operational use
  • Participate in technical meetings, design reviews, and project presentations
  • Contribute to the development of innovation proposals, improvements, and inventions
  • Support the implementation of new materials, technologies, and advanced design methods

What do we want to know about you?

  • Higher education in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working as a Design Engineer
  • Strong working knowledge of NX CAD/CAM, KOMPAS‑3D, and AutoCAD
  • Proven experience preparing drawings and specifications in accordance with ESKD (Unified System for Design Documentation)
  • Ability to read, analyze, and work confidently with engineering drawings and technical documentation
  • Knowledge of current regulatory and technical documentation applicable in the Republic of Kazakhstan
  • Demonstrated ability to develop solutions for complex and non‑standard engineering problems
  • Strong leadership qualities, teamwork skills, and a high sense of responsibility
  • Proficiency in Kazakh and English
