How will you make a difference?
As an Operations Performance & Data Analyst Apprenticeship, you will support the team in improving operational performance and ensuring reliable customer delivery. You will assist in consolidating data, tracking KPIs, and contributing to coordination across teams. This role is a great opportunity to learn how data-driven decisions are made in a complex industrial environment and to gain exposure to cross-functional collaboration.
What will your typical day look like?
- Support the collection and consolidation of operational data from multiple Wabtec sites, ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Assist in maintaining reporting tools and dashboards (mainly in Excel) to track operational performance
- Help monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and highlight potential deviations
- Contribute to the preparation of performance review materials and support meetings with operational teams
- Assist in preparing presentations by translating data into clear and simple insights
- Provide support in coordinating actions related to supplier delivery challenges impacting operations
- Help follow up on action plans and track progress on key operational topics
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by identifying possible areas for enhancement
- Collaborate with different teams such as operations, supply chain, and procurement to ensure smooth communication
What do we want to know about you?
- Bachelor’s degree (or currently enrolled / recently graduated) in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong interest in operations, data analysis, or performance management
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, basic formulas; advanced skills are a plus)
- Analytical mindset with willingness to learn how to interpret data and derive insights
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to organize tasks and pay attention to detail
- Professional proficiency in English (and local language is a plus)
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, international environment
