Who will you be working with?

You will work with global engineering, product, digital technologies, systems engineering, onboard and connectivity teams, collaborating across regions and Best Cost Countries (BCC). You will interact with multidisciplinary teams responsible for software engineering, onboard systems, telecom solutions and digital rail platforms. You will also collaborate closely with leadership teams to align technical strategy and business priorities.

How will you make a difference?

You will define and lead the engineering strategy for digital and onboard solutions in the rail industry. You will develop and expand engineering capabilities in Best Cost Countries (BCC), ensuring competitiveness, innovation and global delivery standards. You will drive technology evolution across software, connectivity, systems integration and digital platforms, ensuring customer value, reliability and strong execution. Your leadership will enable innovation, operational excellence and growth within digital rail solutions.

What will your typical day look like?

• Lead engineering strategy for digital rail solutions, covering software, connectivity, systems integration and onboard platforms.
• Develop engineering operations in Best Cost Countries (BCC), ensuring performance, scalability and technical excellence.
• Oversee solution architecture, technology roadmap and engineering quality across product lines.
• Ensure governance of engineering programs, technical reviews, risk mitigation and delivery maturity.
• Drive innovation in areas such as IoT, connectivity, automation, analytics, edge computing and digital onboard systems.
• Strengthen collaboration with global teams, customers, partners, suppliers and technology hubs.
• Promote engineering best practices, agile methodologies, automation and continuous improvement.
• Support strategy alignment between engineering, product management, sourcing, operations and commercial teams.
