Job Description

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist Deputy Maintenance Manager in overseeing Field Service team included but not limited to manpower planning for performing field service works, liaise with customers, group sister companies (OE) for logistic & technical analyses, prepare progress / field services reports to meet customer & internal standard and supporting management for managerial work.

  • Provide technical and operational solutions with the Field Service Team for day-to-day PM, CM and CBM tasks.  Leading a team of technicians for complex fault investigation and coordinate with FS Engineer for additional follow-up actions.

  • Repair and troubleshoot of PCB, mechanical and electrical components of PSD and APG systems, Utilize soldering irons, multi-meters, power supplies, and oscilloscopes for electrical repair and testing. 

  • Act as an instructor, provide training and guidance to team members. Prepare training materials and assessments for team members.

  • Complete ad hoc assignments and other Filed Service duties from Deputy Field Service Manager.

 

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree holder in E&M Engineering or other discipline.  High diploma with sound experience / knowledge will also be considered.  Candidate will higher qualifications and experience may consider to be Field Service Engineer.

  • Familiar with a wide range of electrical repair and test equipment, including soldering irons, multi-meters, power supplies, and oscilloscopes.  In-depth understanding of electronic circuitry and the ability to read and interpret schematics.

  • 3-5 years of relevant working experience, experience in rolling stocks or related industries is a definite advantage.

  • Written and spoken Cantonese, English and Mandarin are a MUST.

  • Sound communication and interpersonal skills, able to deal with all levels of personnel. 

  • Proven experience in staff supervision is an advantage.

  • Able to pick up different product lines knowledge & transfer to service team member.

  • Good team player, responsible, diplomatic, proactive, and able to work independently under minimal supervision.

  • Experience in quality control processes, Occupational Health and Safety and ISO standard is a definite advantage.

  • Experience in repairing and troubleshooting of PCB, mechanical and electrical components of PSD and APG systems would be an advantage.

  • Holder of REW(A) or higher certification is preferred
