Who will you be working with?
You will be part of the Plant Quality team, working closely with manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and leadership teams. The role partners with regional quality functions and supports the plant in maintaining strong quality governance, compliance, and continuous improvement culture.
How will you make a difference?
As a QMS Senior Specialist, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the plant Quality Management System. You will ensure compliance with corporate requirements, regulatory obligations, and international quality standards while driving process discipline and operational excellence. This role plays a critical part in strengthening quality governance, supporting audits, and ensuring consistent application of quality processes across the plant.
What will your typical day look like?
Quality Management System Governance
- Lead the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the plant Quality Management System
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 22163, and applicable corporate standards
- Maintain and manage the plant quality documentation structure, including procedures, work instructions, and policies
- Ensure effective document control and change management processes
Audit Management
- Plan, conduct, and manage internal QMS audits across the plant
- Coordinate external certification audits and customer audits
- Track audit findings and ensure timely closure of corrective and preventive actions
- Drive systemic improvements based on audit results and trends
Corrective & Preventive Action (CAPA)
- Lead the plant CAPA process for systemic and recurring issues
- Ensure robust Root Cause Analysis methodologies are applied (e.g., 5 Why, Fishbone)
- Monitor and verify the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions
Quality Governance & Performance
- Support quality KPI monitoring, analysis, and reporting to plant and regional leadership
- Facilitate management reviews of the Quality Management System
- Ensure effective communication and understanding of quality requirements across departments
Continuous Improvement
- Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Support the application of problem-solving methodologies (8D, PDCA, etc.)
- Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency, compliance, and overall quality performance
What do we want to know about you?
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Quality Management within a manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience working with certified quality systems such as ISO 9001 and/or ISO 22163
- Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies, including audits, RCA, and CAPA
- Experience in heavy industry, rail, automotive, or complex assembly manufacturing is preferred
- Strong communication, facilitation, and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment with production, engineering, and supply chain teams
- Legal authorization in Kazakhstan is required
- Kazakh and English proficiency
