Leadership, Expertise and Accelerated Development (LEAD)
Ready to go all in on your career? At Wabtec, we’re building the next generation of innovators and changemakers. Our LEAD program is a two-year immersive experience designed for early-career professionals in Engineering, Operations, Finance and IT. It’s more than a job - it's a launchpad.
Real Project Work
With hands-on projects, targeted leadership training, and six-month rotations across different business units, LEAD gives you the tools to grow, explore, and make a real impact.

You'll work alongside senior leaders, build a global network and gain exposure to the inner workings of a company that’s driving the future of transportation.
Ready to mix things up? Our rotational programs let you try on different roles, sharpen your skills and fast-track your future.
Operations
As a LEAD OPERATIONS team member, you can have rotations in: Manufacturing shop operations, material fulfillment, sourcing, manufacturing, supplier quality and more.
Engineering
As a LEAD Engineering team member, you can have rotations in product & software development, controls & systems engineering, advanced mechanical technology and more.
Heading
Finance
As a LEAD Finance team member, you can have rotations in financial planning & analysis, commercial finance, supply chain finance, product finance, investor relations and more.
IT
As a LEAD IT team member, you can have rotations in cyber security, infrastructure architecture, data & analytics, program management, digital operation and more.
Services
Wabtec’s Services Technical Excellence Program (STEP) is a three-year rotational program in the U.S. Start at a customer shop, then rotate through two more teams within Freight Services.
