Job Description

Who will you be working with?

You will be working with our Field Service team who are expertise to ensure on-site work are performed safely, on time, within budget and to the satisfaction of the customer.

How will you make a difference?

As a member of the Field Service team, you will be responsible for handling, maintaining, repairing and installing electrical / mechanical / hydraulic / pneumatic equipment in MTRC premises.

What will your typical day look like?

  • Take ownership of the site work and as the lead CPT for the assigned project including to act as major interface with Project Manager and Safety from MTRC. 
  • Conduct site survey activities / trials as per Project Manager / Engineers instructions with constructive feedback such as technical feasibility and resources optimization. 
  • Lead & supervise Field Services technicians and/or Contractors to perform refurbishment works (electrical and/or mechanical) in Hong Kong. 
  • Execution excellence in term of project work scope, readiness of tooling, safety and work quality
  • Maintain close communication with various stakeholders to ensure overall works progress as scheduled. 
  • Handle installation and technical issues, report installation progress and maintain proper documentation.

Qualifications

What do we want to know about you?

  • Diploma in E&M Engineering or related discipline or apprentice training in E&M field or E&M related training.
  • At least 5 years practical working experience in maintenance, preferably in railway, rolling stock, automobile or related industries.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite.
  • Qualification in MTRC CP(T) and/or Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker (Grade A) and/or Certified Safety Supervisor and/or First Aid Certificate is a definite advantage.
  • Holder of HK driving licence 2 is required
  • Working hours: work on overnight shift
