Who will you be working with?
Bearward Engineering is a Northampton based firm manufacturing radiators for the power generation industry.
How will you make a difference?
As a member of the Inspection team, working on the 1400-2200 shift (38 hours/week) Monday to Friday, you will be responsible for providing support to the business in both new and existing products. Adhering at all times to the Company’s Health and Safety, 2 Minute Warning and Near Miss Reporting policies/procedures, to ensure product is fit for its purpose in accordance with Company Quality Standards; to ensure finished product/component/part is in line with current drawing; assist in all areas in line with business needs following satisfactory training; to process all relevant paperwork in a timely manner; to achieve set targets within section; maintain a high standard of housekeeping; carry out all duties in line with Health & Safety regulations; ensure that all measuring/testing equipment is accurate and/or calibrated
You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.

What about the physical demands of the job?
A manual environment, lifting heavy equipment with magnetic hoists and chain/strap hoists.
