Key missions of the position:
Product Management, Change Management, Technical Customer Support, Coordination with Cross-Function teams to ensure smooth operations of Factory and resolution of issues within stipulated timeline
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Management:
- Understand Customer Requirement and Support team with Development of Product.
- Understand product and drive lifecycle of product.
- Ensure seamless introduction of new products and lead from Engineering side.
- Implementation of Change Management and drive change management activity.
- Drive Value Analysis and implement Value Engineering alongside improve product reliability.
- Customer Coordination:
- Support CFT team during customer inspection along with necessary documentation.
- Represent Engineering in customer meeting.
- Documentation & Compliance:
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with all documentation as per company and quality policies.
- Support audits and regulatory requirements through proper record-keeping.
- Coordination with Cross-Functional Teams:
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure smooth operation of Factory.
- Work with Sourcing and Supplier Quality to implement cost saving and reliability measures.
- System & Reporting:
- Prepare regular reports on engineering activities and present to management.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify and suggest improvements in the site engineering activities and processes.
- Support digitalization efforts to enhance operational efficiency.

Required Candidate Profile
Education/Training
- What education and education level are necessary for the position?
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
Professional Experience
- How many years of professional experience in a specific professional area are required for the position?
- 6-9 years of experience in Design Engineering or product management or System Engineering, preferably in railway or industrial sectors.
- Strong understanding of Systems, Schematics and Drawings including dimension and tolerances.
- Proficiency in MS Office, knowledge of a 3D tool such as Catia or SolidWorks is desirable.
- Excellent communication, coordination, problem-solving skills and decision making.
