Job Description

1. PRIMARY PURPOSE

 

We are looking for an IT Business Analyst to help design and implement effective IT systems. Responsibilities will include collecting business requirements, preparing business case for user requirements, helping the solution delivery teams understand the objectives of the solutions. Map the requirements to existing enterprise solutions if any. 

Help the end users understand the enterprise solutions and processes. Train the users. Track Usage KPIs, help in adoption of the IT solutions.

 

This position will need to ensure the integrity and reliability of IT Systems and provide first and second level support in all technology related issues. As a system analyst, candidate will be joining a team of engineers and developers who are passionate about new IT systems. Candidate will work with other groups and in particular the IT Leads to provide the necessary support to resolve client and plant site related issues.

 

The individual must have strong technical acumen to solving problems. highly analytical and able to understand business needs. Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities are essential.

Manage stakeholders at the factory site.

 

2. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Communicate with stakeholders to understand their requirements
  • Develop and analyze functional specifications
  • Coordinate with developers to build and implement technology solutions
  • Integrate multiple systems and reconcile needs of different teams
  • Gather feedback from end users about system performance
  • Provide advice and technical training
  • Keep abreast of technology trends and developments
  • Examine and evaluate current systems
  • Liaise with users to track additional requirements and features
  • Collaborate with IT team and developers to produce new systems
  • Validate changes by testing programs
  • Train users on the new operation systems and provide support
  • Ensure deadline and budget requirements are met

 

3. REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS

  • Proven experience as an IT Analyst, IT Consultant or similar role
  • Experience in project management
  • Knowledge of databases, system security and troubleshooting
  • Understanding of business practices
  • Capable of planning and organizing work and processes; ability to self-direct multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to cooperate and have the interpersonal skills to work effectively as a team member.
  • Motivation to provide excellent internal and external customer service

 

4. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE  

  • Overall 6+ years of experience in an Enterprise IT Team
  • Working knowledge ERP and other business software applications at Manufacturing plants
  • Well versed with End User Technologies & business applications and information systems.
  • Experience in auditing internal controls and evaluating internal control deficiencies
  • Experience leading and managing IT projects
  • Capable of planning and organizing work and processes; ability to self-direct multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to cooperate and have the interpersonal skills to work effectively as a team member.
  • Motivation to provide excellent internal and external customer service
  • Qualifications
  • MBA in Information Systems, B Tech/B Sc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Familiarity with programming languages like .Net or Java
