Job Description

Who will you be working with?

You will be part of the ANNAX Group, a Wabtec company operating across Germany, Switzerland, Italy, and China, with over 360 employees. The team delivers advanced passenger information systems and digital solutions for the rail industry.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders including Operations, Supply Chain, Product Line, Quality, and Finance teams. You will also partner directly with the Site Managing Director and leadership team to support business performance and decision-making.

How will you make a difference?

As a member of the ANNAX Finance organization, you will be responsible for leading site-level financial planning, forecasting, and reporting activities. You will act as a key business partner to operations and leadership teams, providing insights into financial performance and supporting strategic decision-making.

You will drive the development and execution of financial plans, improve forecasting accuracy, and identify risks and opportunities. Additionally, you will play a key role in integrating financial processes, tools, and ERP systems to ensure a consistent and harmonized approach across the ANNAX Group.

What will your typical day look like?

  • Acting as a business partner to the Annax Germany Site Managing Director
  • Leading financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting for the site
  • Coordinating reporting across P&L, Operations, and Accounting teams
  • Consolidating financial and operational metrics and analyzing key business drivers
  • Supporting development and execution of operational and financial plans
  • Leading OPEX analysis and ensuring alignment with budget
  • Providing visibility on financial performance, risks, and opportunities
  • Managing cash flow forecasting and budgeting for the Annax Group
  • Conducting profitability and cost analysis at project and product level
  • Collaborating with Product Lines to improve margins through cost and pricing actions

Qualifications

What do we want to know about you?

  • Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Controlling or related field
  • Several years of experience in financial management, ideally in a production or industrial environment
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting
  • Experience working with ERP systems and integrating financial processes and tools
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Independent, structured working style with high attention to results
  • Fluent German and very good English skills (written and spoken)
